The Goodies Box

1. General Participation

• Participation in the Event is entirely voluntary and undertaken at the participant’s own risk.
• By entering, participants confirm they are physically able to complete the walking route involved.
• Participants must follow all local laws, road safety rules, and public guidance at all times during the Event.

2. Route & Activity

• The Event involves visiting multiple participating businesses across Ballymena.
• Participants are responsible for planning their own route and completing the activity safely.
• Dougies Goodies does not provide supervision or guidance during the Event.

3. Children & Supervision

• All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised by a responsible adult (aged 18 or over) at all times.
• The supervising adult accepts full responsibility for the safety, behaviour, and wellbeing of any children in their care.

4. Health & Safety Disclaimer

• Dougies Goodies accepts no responsibility or liability for:
• Any injury, illness, accident, or death sustained during or after participation in the Event.
• Any loss or damage to personal property.
• Participants take part at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety, including awareness of traffic, weather conditions, and surroundings.

5. Third-Party Locations

• The Event includes visits to independently owned businesses.
• Dougies Goodies is not responsible for the condition, safety, or operations of any third-party premises.
• Participants must follow any rules or instructions provided by individual businesses.

6. Personal Belongings

• Participants are solely responsible for their personal belongings at all times.
• Dougies Goodies will not be liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.

7. Conduct

• Participants must behave in a respectful and appropriate manner at all times.
• Dougies Goodies reserves the right to disqualify or refuse participation to anyone behaving irresponsibly, dangerously, or unlawfully.

8. Event Changes or Cancellation

• Dougies Goodies reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel the Event at any time due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to weather, safety concerns, or operational issues.
• No liability will be accepted for any inconvenience caused by such changes.

9. Completion & Prizes

• To complete the Event, participants must return to Dougies Goodies with their completed map.
• No cash alternative will be offered unless stated otherwise.

10. Photography & Media

• By participating, you consent to photographs or videos being taken during the Event and used by Dougies Goodies for promotional purposes, unless you notify us otherwise in advance.

11. Acceptance of Terms

• By taking part in the Event, participants confirm they have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

Collection

Upon collection, a member of staff will present you with your goodies. Please check you are fully satisfied before leaving the store.

Handling

Please remember to handle with care as your goodies are freshly baked. If given a box, please handle from the bottom of the box and do not push the sides of the box in. When lifting the box, keep flat and avoid slanting the box towards your body.

Transportation

Goodies should be placed on a flat surface such as a clear boot space or passenger footwell. You should never transport on a seat or someone's lap to avoid damage.

Store in a cool, dry place. Only items with fresh cream need to be placed in a fridge.

Best consumed within 5 days.

Our Easter Goodie Hunt Pack is for collection from our Ballymena Bakery on 02.04.2026
