Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann lands in Belfast from Sunday 2 to Sunday 9 August 2026, and Dougies Goodies is right in the middle of it. We are a Ballymena-based bakery with a name across Northern Ireland for proper traybakes, fresh breads and made-to-order custom cakes, and we have set up a stall outside the ICC at the Craic & Craft Market for all eight days of the Fleadh. With around 800,000 people expected in the city, it is the biggest week Belfast has ever seen, and we want you fed while you are here for the music, the sessions and the craic.
There are two ways to get your hands on our goodies during Fleadh week. Grab something from the stall outside the ICC as you move between competitions and concerts, or head to our Belfast store on Fountain Street, where the full range is waiting, custom cakes and all. Whichever suits you, we will see you there.

It is set up for the festival crowd: grab-and-go traybakes, fresh bakes and something sweet to keep you going between the sessions. Easy to find, easy to grab, and right in the thick of it.
A few things worth knowing. Belfast city centre roads are closed from 2nd to 9th August, and the Fleadh organisers are strongly advising visitors to use public transport, with Park and Ride facilities running on routes into the city.
Both our stall outside the ICC and our Fountain Street store sit right in the heart of the action, so once you are in the city centre you are only a short walk from either. Plan your journey in on public transport and you will find us easily.

Will our Belfast stores be open during The Fleadh?
Yes 🙌 Our Fountain Street store is open Monday - Saturday 8am to 5pm, and our Castlecourt store is open Monday 12pm - 5pm and Tuesday - Saturday 8am - 5pm.

Can I order custom cakes during The Fleadh?
Yes! Standard custom cakes are available for collection as normal from both our Fountain Street store, and Castlecourt pop-up during The Fleadh. We won't be able to provide speciality cakes this week due to delivery restrictions.
